Apple Cider Protein Doughnuts

1.5g fat, 21g carbs, 10g protein
Ingredients:
3/4 cup apple cider
1 2/3 cup flour of your choice (may alter macros)
2 scoops PES Select protein (Vanilla or Snickerdoodle)
2/3 cup splenda
1 egg + one yolk 1.5 tbsp fat free greek yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tbsp baking powder
pinch of salt
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of cinnamon
Directions:
1- First we reduce the apple cider down to half a cup, by heating it in a saucepan over medium heat (5-10 mins)
This gives us less liquid to work with so we don't need a ton more dry, and also strengthens the apple cider taste per bite
2- In a large bowl mix together your yogurt, splenda, vanilla, and eggs
3- In a medium bowl whisk together all of the dry ingredients until mixed
4- Add the dry ingredients to the wet, a quarter at a time and mix until combined, refirdgerate this dough mix for 10 minutes
5. Preheat oven to 400 while waiting, grease your donut pan
6- Fill your donut pan with the dough about 2/3 full
The amount of donuts you make varies dastically based on the suze of your mould, I got 8 but others may get more or less, just fill to 2/3 regardless.
7- Bake for 10-12 minutes, let them cool
8- Devour.
Want my glaze?
1/2 cup apple cider reduced by half, add 1/2 tsp cinnamon, blend up Splenda for about 1/2 a cup icing splenda, mix with your cider until as thick as you want it.
